If your parents were anything like mine, you may not have eaten much McDonalds when you were little – but as children of the 80s, I hope that you remember this commercial…

Oh I wish I were already there – instead of here – playing this song. Oh I would have a big chocolate shake - a cheeseburger - and also whoops - and also fries. And I would eat my fries myself – and not give any – to my dumb brother. Hands off – they’re mine – all mine!

Oh boy my recital is almost done - It wasn’t bad - I’m still alive. And now I can have my chocolate shake - my cheeseburger - and also whoops - and also fries.

So I still love that commercial, but in all seriousness - is there anything more lowbrow than singing a McDonald’s ditty to Für Elise? I mean, this might be exactly what’s wrong with America.

Ok, but since we’re on topic – do you all remember the McDonald’s menu song? You know, how you would get those records with the song on it… and if the singer made it all the way through – you won a million dollars!

I'd like a Big Mac, Mc DLT, a Quarter-Pounder with some cheese - Filet-O-Fish, a hamburger, a cheeseburger, a Happy Meal - McNuggets, tasty golden french fries, regular or larger size - and salads chef or garden, or a chicken salad oriental - Big Big Breakfast, Egg McMuffin, hot hot cakes, and sausage - maybe biscuits, bacon, egg and cheese, a sausage, danish, hash browns too - and for dessert hot apple pies, and sundaes three varieties - a soft-serve cone, three kinds of shakes, and chocolatey chip cookies - and to drink a Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, and orange drink - a Sprite and coffee, decaf too, a lowfat milk, also an orange juice - I love McDonald's, good time great taste, and I get this all at one place - The good time, great taste, of McDonald's.

Seriously though, McDonalds really needs to kick it old school and re-release that... maybe get Lindsay Lohan and her orange vagina, or Trash... or better yet - NicRichie to record an updated version. That would be HOT! Go here to listen to the original.
