Anyone who has been out to the US Open over the past week, or who has been following the television coverage, might know that Miss Anna has been out there nearly every night. She herself is known for her morning tennis routine - waking up around 5:30 am each morning to play, before she is professionally made-up, coiffed and chauffeured to 4 Times Square.

Last night I spotted Anna in the crowd during the Federer Blake match - and wondered to myself - what is she doing here... isn't Condé Nast sponsoring that whole Fashion Rocks event? Well, rumor has it that Miss Anna walked the red carpet at her party - and then made a swift escape to a car that was waiting to drive her out to Queens. Hilarious!

Since we're also in the midst of New York's Olympus Fashion Week, rumors are also swirling that some designers (Doori Chung, for one) are even scheduling their shows around the US Open - in order to appease Anna, and to ensure that she will be in attendance at their shows. Although that might sound slightly absurd to some, most people should know that the MOST important thing for a designer, is to have Anna Wintour in their front row!
