Check out this embarrasingly delightful clip of Dennis Hastert, the Speaker of the House - as he leads members of congress in a glorious rendition of the Star Spangled Banner, during a 9/11 ceremony yesterday. Although it may be difficult to get past the fact that he is utterly tone deaf, please listen for his interesting re-arrangement of the lyrics at the beginning. It's pretty clear that things are headed South when he welcomes everyone to join in singing the "Star Spaniel Banner"...Oh, and just so you know - Francis Scott Key just rolled over in his grave.

i do believe that this result is predictable when morons make a wrestling coach a leader of one of our branches of government. interesting note: according to his official biography, "Whenever he can find free time, Hastert enjoys attending wrestling meets, going fishing, restoring vintage automobiles, carving and painting duck decoys."
