wonder showzen

Has anyone ever seen Wonder Showzen? I've seen the DVDs at the store, but never had any idea as to what the show was about. According to Wikipedia, the show's format is that of educational PBS children's television shows such as Sesame Street or The Electric Company (e.g. use of stock footage, puppetry, and clips of children being interviewed). However, Wonder Showzen parodies the format in a very adult-oriented manner. In addition to general controversial comedy, it satirizes politics, religion, war, and culture with black comedy.

There's usually a recurring skit entitled Beat Kids, in which one of the children leads a journalistic segment, usually with offensive questioning and ridiculing of the interviewees. In this skit, Beat Kids goes to a New York butcher shop.

Wonder Showzen is shown on MTV2 - Friday nights at 9:30.
