uli herzner runway show

Uli Herzner's collection was kind of half what I expected. Somehow she was coaxed and cajoled into showing a little bit of restraint. Yes, there are plenty of garish prints - but the pieces that she did in the muted palette, are great. I particularly like the silver, long sleeved mini dress (look #10), and the nude shirt dress with the silver detail at the waistline (look #8). I also find her use of what looks like nacre, to be interesting. Paired with those crazy prints, it gives an almost safari feel. All in all though, I kind of fell asleep just looking at her collection.
