susan g. komen handbag auction
Seventeen magazine recently asked a bunch of celebrities to donate one of their handbags to benefit cancer research. The handbags are currently up for auction on Ebay until September 23rd. All bids started at $100 and all net proceeds will be donated to the American Breast Cancer Foundation, American Cancer Society, and Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Surprisingly, most of the bags are beyond fug. Not surprisingly, the bag that has the highest bid so far, is the one that used to belong to Sarah Jessica Parker. Stupid girls, still desperately pretending that they're a "Carrie". Meanwhile, the bag is probably the most hideous of all - and it's clearly nothing that SJP would have carried in public - ever! Seriously, the bag was one of the freebies included in the 2006 Golden Globes gift bag that was given to presenters. And to make matters worse, it's not even real crocodile. It's embossed leather. Heinous!

Reese Witherspoon, Selma Blair, Angelica Huston and Ashley Olsen are the only ladies who donated nice looking bags. Most of the others are clearly atrocious. I took a look at the current bids and it's interesting to see whose bag is going for what. The heirarchy is hilarious.

Good call. All the other bags are heinous.
