Mother O's Legends Ball special will finally be aired this evening – and my tivo has been programmed for days. I had been anticipating this so much last week, and then Dumbya had to go and address the nation – ps.. did anyone watch that? I always watch those, but illegal immigration is the least of my concerns – especially when it supersedes my permaboo, O.

Before you sit down tonight to watch this special, Mother O encourages you all to mix up a batch of her favorite lemon drop martinis.

INGREDIENTS

• The juice of 6 lemons
• 4 Tbsp. sugar
• 6 fresh mint leaves
• 4 shots of vodka
• Ice in shaker
• A sugar-rimmed martini glass
  

Mix lemon juice, sugar and vodka in a martini shaker filled with ice. Shake well and pour into sugar-rimmed martini glass. Garnish with mint. Fabulous!

Oh, and while we’re on the topic of O, I would just like to mention that perennial favorite - Nate Berkus has been looking a little rough lately. I don’t understand why a good looking guy would go and make himself all ugly – and so brazenly, I might add. Seriously though – shave that shit and start from scratch.
