2007 red dress collection

Once again another New York Fashion Week has begun - this time for the Fall 2007 Ready-to-Wear collections. Kicking off things this morning, was The Heart Truth's annual Red Dress collection. In 2002, the organization introduced the red dress as the symbol for heart disease awareness.

Via Fashion Wire Daily -
Designers such as Diane von Furstenberg, Oscar de la Renta, Tracy Reese and Donna Karan dressed an impressive array of women in one-of-a-kind red dresses, ranging from film stars like Bassett to supermodels Helena Christensen and Alek Wek to Mae Jemison, the first women of color to enter space as a NASA astronaut.
