Five days after being booked in connection with a May drunken driving charge, actress Lindsay Lohan was arrested early Tuesday morning on five charges -- including drunken driving and possession of a controlled substance, Santa Monica police told CNN.

Police spokeswoman Calisse Lindsey said police got a call at 1:34 a.m. PT that a vehicle was chasing another vehicle in a parking lot in Santa Monica. When officers arrived, they found Lohan driving the vehicle that was chasing the other, the spokeswoman said.

The officers smelled alcohol and administered a field sobriety test, which Lohan failed, Lindsey said.

When taken to the police station, the 21-year-old actress registered 0.12 and 0.13 in blood tests for alcohol levels, the spokeswoman said. In California, the legal limit is 0.08, according to the state's Department of Motor Vehicles. Officers also found a white powdery substance in Lohan's possession which was determined to be cocaine, Lindsey said.

An enraged Alec Baldwin unleashed a volcanic tirade of threats and insults on his 11-year-old daughter, Ireland, calling her a "thoughtless little pig," and bashing her mother Kim Basinger -- and TMZ has obtained the whole thing unfiltered and raw. And, we've learned, the tape could cost Baldwin his visitation rights.

After Ireland failed to answer her father's scheduled morning phone call from New York on April 11, Alec went berserk on her voice mail, saying "Once again, I have made an ass of myself trying to get to a phone," adding, "you have insulted me for the last time."

Switching his train of thought, Baldwin then exercised his incredible parenting skills and took a shot at his ex-wife, declaring, "I don't give a damn that you're 12-years-old or 11-years-old, or a child, or that your mother is a thoughtless pain in the ass who doesn't care about what you do." The irate Baldwin went on to say, "You've made me feel like s**t" and threatened to "straighten your ass out."

"This crap you pull on me with this goddamn phone situation that you would never dream of doing to your mother," screamed Baldwin, "and you do it to me constantly over and over again."

Before hanging up, Baldwin warned the child, "You better be ready Friday the 20th to meet with me." That's tomorrow.

We've learned, Wednesday, that Los Angeles County Superior Court commissioner Maren Nelson heard the tape and temporarily suspended Baldwin's visitation rights. A hearing is set for May 4, where the judge could permanently deny Baldwin visitation or contact with Ireland.

Calls to Basinger's attorneys, celebrity lawyers Neal Hersh and Judy Bogen, were not returned. Baldwin's lawyer, Vicki Greene, told TMZ, "Whatever happened yesterday was sealed and confidential. What you're telling me you've got you shouldn't have."

I recently re-watched what has got to be one of the absolute best 90s movies - Muriel's Wedding, which because it was an Australian release, never got to be all that big in the states. It is laugh out loud funny. Pure genius!

I have to say that Giambattista Valli is very quickly becoming one of my absolute favorite women's wear designers. His work has such a heightened sense of refinement, and he always manages to give his audience an element of surprise. I Quadruple LOVE him!

From the painter (and perhaps from classic YSL too) came the black suits—longer through the jacket, fuller through the leg, and more office-ready than anything the designer has shown before.

The bold shots of yellow and red, geometric prints, and the new stiffer architecture found in Valli's favorite trapeze and bell shapes were derived from the great architect. And from La Doña, as she was called, he took the flourishes.

Valli's first love is a party dress. So Swarovski crystals studded the funnel necks of short frocks. Black-tipped white feathers were stitched together to create a showstopping weightless cape.

After being introduced by Romney, who said "I am happy to hear that after you hear from me, you will hear from Ann Coulter. That is a good thing. Oh yeah!", Coulter took the stage and said:

"I was going to have a few comments on the other Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards, but it turns out you have to go into rehab if you use the word ‘faggot,’ so I — so kind of an impasse, can’t really talk about Edwards."

None of my picks for this year's worst dressed have ever even been nominated for an Academy Award. Hmmm - maybe there is something to be said about that.

1. Kirsten Dunst in Chanel Haute Couture

Everything about this is wrong. I mean, the dress was a nightmare on the runway - but on Kirsten Dunst it is absolutely catalysmic! First off, that color against her translucent skin is just wrong. Second, it's the Goddamn Academy Awards and she couldn't even be bothered to do her hair. Can you say hot mess?

2. Beyonce Knowles in Armani Prive

Why must Beyonce always look like such a tranny on the red carpet? This mint green color bores me to tears. I must say that Beyonce carries it better than Kate Winslet did - but not by much. Okay okay, her makeup is fine and her wig is on straight - but the compliments end there. My main objection here is that fucking enamel work on the bodice of the gown. It is FAR too heavy. Complete overkill. Also, what is up with those basket-esque shoes. Never a good look!

3. Anne Hathaway in Valentino

Anne Anne Anne - you are such a gorgeous girl, but what the hell were you thinking? You look like you raided your grandmother's closet, and then got dressed in the dark. That gown would have looked fantastic on say, Magic Meryl - but it seriously ages you about 40 years. The bow on the front makes you look thick through the middle, and you're wearing too many bracelets. From the neck up, though... A+

4. Kelly Preston in Dolce & Gabbana

Ahhh, Kelly Preston. My complaint with this is not that the dress is ugly or that she's not smoking hot in it. The issue that I take, is that it is completely 100% inappropriate for the Academy Awards. You don't wear leopard print Dolce to the Oscars... especially for a gal who doesn't really have any real reason being there! Obnoxious!

I've heard that Ryan Phillippe hasn't been doing so well post-split, but I must say that Reese has been looking fantastic. At both the Golden Globes and the Screen Actors Guild Awards, Reese completely rocked it in Olivier Theyskens for Nina Ricci. I'm really excited to see what see will be wearing this Sunday at the Academy Awards, although my fingers are crossed that's it not this same Theyskens silhouette.

All of that aside, I just saw these recent snaps and I must say that Reese is starting to look a bit like a lollipop head. Hopefully she won't turn into one of those girls. I imagine that she's just dealing with the divorce.
